Miriam Schapiro Archives on Women Artists

The Miriam Schapiro Archives on Women Artists is one of the largest archival collections dedicated to collecting and preserving women artists' papers, publications, and organizations in the United States. It is housed at Rutgers University Libraries' Special Collections and University Archives, and is open by appointment to scholars, curators, researchers, and students who seek documentation about women's art practices.

All artists that are women of any gender expression are invited to submit their resume, an artist statement, and supporting documentation (ie: catalogs, exhibition postcards, etc.) to be housed in the CWAF. Materials can be sent to:
