Muriel Hasbun: Seismic Traces opens September 1

The Mary H. Dana Women Artists Series Galleries at Douglass Library has reopened to the Rutgers Community with our annual Estelle Lebowitz Endowed Visiting Artist exhibit!

Muriel Hasbun: Seismic Traces will be on view from September 1, 2021 – April 8, 2022. Born in El Salvador to a Salvadoran-Palestinian-Christian father and a French-Polish-Jewish mother, Hasbun addresses migration, displacement, and her unique family history throughout her work. The exhibit features photographs from various series, as well as an interactive installation in the rotunda of the library where you can tell your family story and share by creating a paper boat and adding it to the collection!
