The Miriam Schapiro Archives on Women Artists is one of the largest archival collections dedicated to collecting and preserving women artists’ papers, publications, and organizations in the United States. It is housed at Rutgers University Libraries’ Special Collections and University Archives, and is open by appointment to scholars, curators, researchers, and students who seek documentation about women’s art practices. Holdings include records of the Mary H. Dana Women Artists Series, Center for Women in the Arts and Humanities, Women Artists Archives National Directory, and The Feminist Art Project.
