Women Working from Within for Change

Judith K. Brodsky is Distinguished Professor Emerita in the Department of Visual Arts at Rutgers, the Co-Director of the Institute for Women and Art, and  the Founding Director of the Rutgers Center for Innovative Print and Paper, which was renamed the Brodsky Center in her honor in September 2006.  Over the past thirty years, Brodsky had held numerous leadership positions in the art world; most notably as past national president of ArtTable, the College Art Association, and the Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA).

Judith Brodsky’s lecture is being held in conjunction with the major exhibition, “Bridging Generations: Women Artists and Organizations from the Rutgers Collections.”

Documentation for this event is housed in The Feminist Art Project archives at Rutgers University.
