Taking Stock: Transformative Scholarship, Transforming Practices

In conjunction with the 2009 meeting of the Mid-Atlantic Women Studies Association at Rutgers. Featuring former and current Laurie Chairs including Sara Ahmed, Charlotte Bunch, Florence Butegwa, Paula Giddings, Elizabeth Grosz, Alison Jaggar, Diana Tientjens Meyers and Jacqueline Pitanguy, and feminist scholars at Rutgers such as Nikol Alexander Floyd, Cheryl Clarke, Cheryl Wall, Jasbir Puar, and Deborah Gray White, the conferences explores four decades of feminist intellectual and political activism.
