This panel includes three emerging scholars and artists who have used academic research to create innovative projects in queer and trans history, including documentary films, art installations, oral history archives, and multi-disciplinary events. In response to the rapid changes affecting academic departments and academic publishing, this panel prompts students to explore alternative ways of conceiving of and presenting new and dynamic work on queer and trans history aimed at audiences both inside and outside of the university.
