Joan Snyder: How it Happens/Making Prints and Paintings

The Zimmerli and the Mary H. Dana Women Artists Series, a program of the Rutgers Institute for Women and Art in partnership with the Rutgers University Lbraries, presents a lecture by the leading American artist, Estelle Lebowitz Visiting Artist-in-Residence Joan Snyder. In conjunction with the special exhibition, Dancing with the Dark: Joan Snyder Prints 1963-2010, Snyder discusses her career and the methods by which she achieves her powerful prints and paintings.

A reception will follow the lecture.

$10 general admission; $5 museum members. Free to Rutgers faculty, staff, and students.
