The symposium will explore the synergies between the book and the body, focusing on how their symbolic and physical beauties are mutually informing. Participating artists and commentators will include Carol Armstrong (Yale University), Rachel Hadas (Rutgers-Newark), Valerie Hammond, Anne McKeown (Brodsky Center, Rutgers), Maryann Riker, and Buzz Spector (Cornell University).
