Filmmaker Ellen Weissbrod merges her own coming of middle-age story with her pursuit of the truths behind the legends of 17th century female painter Artemisia Gentileschi’s provocative art and dramatic life. Features interviews with Mary Garrard, Ann Harris, Elizabeth Cropper, Richard Feigen and Alexandra Lapierre, as well as rarely seen Gentileschi works in private collections.
