Announcing TFAP@CAA 2021

CWAH is excited to announce TFAP@CAA 2021 programming! The Feminist Art Project’s Day(s) of Panels, Ecofeminisms, will take place on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5:00 – 8:00pm (EST) and Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 12:30 – 5:30pm (EST). This two-day virtual symposium on Ecofeminisms explores the intersection between feminism, the visual arts, and the environment to help us make sense of the fraught relationship between contemporary humans and the earth and to ponder ways forward. Convener: Tatiana Flores, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey; Symposium Chairs: Ana María Reyes, Boston University; Laura Anderson Barbata, FONCA, México and LACIS, University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Additionally, TFAP will present their 2021 CAA Affiliated Society session, Climate Relations: Indigenity in Activism, Art, and Digital Media on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 3:00 – 4:30pm (EST). This session will be a dialogue between three Native Scholars leading work at the intersections of Activism, Art, and Digital Media on Indigenous climate relations towards improving the quality of our lives. Presented in partnership with the Vera List Center for Art and Politics, The New School.

Events will be presented live on Zoom and are free and open to the public. TFAP@CAA is held in conjunction with the 109th College Art Association (CAA) Conference.
